The Challenge

Jägermeister is one of the world’s leading beverage brands. This is not by coincidence and Jägermeister has made a reputation for being bold, daring and innovative. As a step for them to further increase their brand awareness and position, Jägermesiter wanted to create an innovative brand activation during the Swedish ski season. For this, they needed outgoing and fierce staff. And so they came to Gigstr.

The Solution

Gigstr built and managed a Jägermeister ambassador team consisting of bartenders and event staff to represent the brand during the popular Scandinavian ski season. In order to meet Jägermeister’s need for flexibility, Gigstr added a gig coach who coordinated and administered the gig and team.

Incorporating a gig coach to the project included:

  1. Building the team
  2. Training the team
  3. Managing the team
  4. Organising lodging
  5. Planning the events directly with the venues
  6. Sending weekly reports with data and photos
  7. Holding monthly meetings during the activation to fine tune the campaigns.

By being present with pop up bars at after-skis, resorts, and clubs, Jägermeister could interact with their target audience in a fun, credible and relevant way. Further, by having an on demand team, Gigstr was able to scale up and down as well as and move across the Nordics based on demand so that Jägermeister could be where their customers were.

The Challenge

Skånemejerier is Sweden’s second largest producer of dairy products. Having a large number of brands in their product portfolio, it’s vital for Skånemejerier to get their products out there and have potential consumers interact and test their products. In order for this to happen, they have product sampling at the core of their product launch and campaign strategy. They were in need of an agile staffing partner who could put together a pool of flexible and world class brand ambassadors to help push Skånemejeriets products when needed. And so they came to Gigstr.

The Solution

Skånemejerier commission Gigstr to handle their product samplings. By letting Gigstr manage product sampling campaigns across Sweden, they can work effectively and flexibly with getting chosen product lines out to the end consumers.

Gigstr’s gig teams know that sampling is more than just handing out products - you need to analyse and come up with a way to meet the customer the way the customer wants to be met. Spice this up with a some unexpected elements and you have a winning concept! Further, prior to every sampling campaign, Skånemejerier and Gigstr discuss the concept and KPIs. Once this is done, Gigstr’s project managers, or gig coaches as we call them, take over to find strategic sampling spots and handle all the logistics around the gig.

The Challenge

How do you as a company manage to reach out to clients and customers all over Sweden, without using resellers or own stores? How do you handle seasonal variations in your sales cycle? These were just some of the questions that the Swedish mobile operator Halebop had when we first met them.

The Solution

Aside from creating a full-service staffing solution, we also created a full-service campaign idea and production plan, which would tie everything together and would enable us to cater cross department and be on demand for the company’s different staffing cycles. It became Halebop’s largest prepaid activity.

What we came up with was a multi-layered full-service solution, which was stretched over one year and included a range of different events and initiatives that all together aimed to increase the brand awareness and drive new sales to selected products and services within the brand. To mention a few parts of the solution, we created a summer campaign to drive awareness and sales to their free roaming segment. The campaign was called “Surfa med Halebop”, which easily described meant that we toured the roads of Sweden with a team of gigstrs to promote the feature and put on fun and interactive events and sampling activities along the way. In addition to this, we conducted samplings, PR-stunts, radio recordings, pop-up stores around the country, created new product launches and handled various kinds of logistics. As you can hear it was what we call a whopping full-service staffing solution extravaganza.

What was the result?

The motivated gigstr team gave results exceeding all expectations and pre-set goals. Nicklas Stuxgren, the then Head of Sales at Halebop said in a Dagens Media article:

“The advantage of using gigstrs is that it gives Halebop the possibility to shorten lead times and be present when and where our primary target groups gather… We don’t have any physical stores and for this reason our gigstrs are in many cases the way in which you meet our brand… Gigstr quality assure and we know that they meet the demands we have. We then jointly follow up on these KPIs as well as the customer experience. Their way of working has developed over time and is tremendously innovative and they are really ahead of their time.”

The Challenge

Norrsken is an ecosystem for social entrepreneurship. It consists of the investment fund Norrsken Founders Fund, and Norrsken House, a coworking space for over 350 impact entrepreneurs in Stockholm. The vision is to invest in companies with the potential to radically improve the world. An important pillar in Norrsken House’s strategy is to hold internal and external events in order to impact and improve local societies and the world at large. In order to do so successfully, Norrsken is in need of professional and representative event staff who can be managed seamlessly. And so they came to Gigstr.

The Solution

The Norrsken House event team uses Gigstr as its staffing tool. They have a pool of gigstrs who are pre-trained and aware of Norrsken’s specific routines. In addition to this, Norrsken can post gigs when they want to boost their event staffing pool force with new gigstrs. The Norrsken event gigs are popular within our community and attract interest from a wide selection of diverse and outgoing gigstrs. Norrsken can easily chat to, and interview new gigstrs free of charge. Gigstr is proud and honoured to play a part part in Norrsken’s tremendously important and innovative work!

3 Vänners Glass

The Challenge

3 Vänners Glass is a small and genuine ice-cream factory which in the past years has skyrocketed and become incredibly popular. By stuffing their ice-creams full of natural, Nordic ingredients they have created a loyal and continuously growing customer base. In order to expand their customer base, they work with product sampling on a regular basis. It’s by tasting their delicious ice-cream the consumer realises what he or she has been missing out on. Samplings and product demos are the backbone to 3 Vänners Glass’ growth strategy and are conducted in store or at events and fairs on a weekly basis. In order to optimise sales and brand awareness, they needed driven and sales oriented brand ambassadors who could spread their passion for amazing ice-cream. And so they came to Gigstr..

The Solution

3 Vänners Glass downloaded the Gigstr app and started to post gigs for sampling and product demos. They quickly recruited a solid pool of gigstrs that they trained and worked with, to which they continuously add more gigstrs as the gigs grow larger in number and scope. Today, 3 Vänners Glass can easily contact their pre-trained gigstrs with new job offers directly in the app, as well as post new gigs to boost their flexible pool with gigstrs. The job offer is sent directly via the Gigstr app and rids them of contract signings and payroll admin - as it’s handled automatically via Gigstr in addition to having work schedules and reporting of hours handled seamlessly in the app. Through using Gigstr, 3 Vänners Glass can focus on what’s most important; letting ever-more Scandinavians taste their ridiculously delicious ice-cream. Yummy!
