Jägermeister is one of the world’s leading beverage brands. This is not by coincidence and Jägermeister has made a reputation for being bold, daring and innovative. As a step for them to further increase their brand awareness and position, Jägermesiter wanted to create an innovative brand activation during the Swedish ski season. For this, they needed outgoing and fierce staff. And so they came to Gigstr.
Gigstr built and managed a Jägermeister ambassador team consisting of bartenders and event staff to represent the brand during the popular Scandinavian ski season. In order to meet Jägermeister’s need for flexibility, Gigstr added a gig coach who coordinated and administered the gig and team.
Incorporating a gig coach to the project included:

- Managing the team
- Organising lodging
- Planning the events directly with the venues
- Sending weekly reports with data and photos
- Holding monthly meetings during the activation to fine tune the campaigns.
By being present with pop up bars at after-skis, resorts, and clubs, Jägermeister could interact with their target audience in a fun, credible and relevant way. Further, by having an on demand team, Gigstr was able to scale up and down as well as and move across the Nordics based on demand so that Jägermeister could be where their customers were.
Skånemejerier is Sweden’s second largest producer of dairy products. Having a large number of brands in their product portfolio, it’s vital for Skånemejerier to get their products out there and have potential consumers interact and test their products. In order for this to happen, they have product sampling at the core of their product launch and campaign strategy. They were in need of an agile staffing partner who could put together a pool of flexible and world class brand ambassadors to help push Skånemejeriets products when needed. And so they came to Gigstr.
Skånemejerier commission Gigstr to handle their product samplings. By letting Gigstr manage product sampling campaigns across Sweden, they can work effectively and flexibly with getting chosen product lines out to the end consumers.

How do you as a company manage to reach out to clients and customers all over Sweden, without using resellers or own stores? How do you handle seasonal variations in your sales cycle? These were just some of the questions that the Swedish mobile operator Halebop had when we first met them.
Aside from creating a full-service staffing solution, we also created a full-service campaign idea and production plan, which would tie everything together and would enable us to cater cross department and be on demand for the company’s different staffing cycles. It became Halebop’s largest prepaid activity.
What we came up with was a multi-layered full-service solution, which was stretched over one year and included a range of different events and initiatives that all together aimed to increase the brand awareness and drive new sales to selected products and services within the brand. To mention a few parts of the solution, we created a summer campaign to drive awareness and sales to their free roaming segment. The campaign was called “Surfa med Halebop”, which easily described meant that we toured the roads of Sweden with a team of gigstrs to promote the feature and put on fun and interactive events and sampling activities along the way. In addition to this, we conducted samplings, PR-stunts, radio recordings, pop-up stores around the country, created new product launches and handled various kinds of logistics. As you can hear it was what we call a whopping full-service staffing solution extravaganza.

What was the result?
The motivated gigstr team gave results exceeding all expectations and pre-set goals. Nicklas Stuxgren, the then Head of Sales at Halebop said in a Dagens Media article:

3 Vänners Glass is a small and genuine ice-cream factory which in the past years has skyrocketed and become incredibly popular. By stuffing their ice-creams full of natural, Nordic ingredients they have created a loyal and continuously growing customer base. In order to expand their customer base, they work with product sampling on a regular basis. It’s by tasting their delicious ice-cream the consumer realises what he or she has been missing out on. Samplings and product demos are the backbone to 3 Vänners Glass’ growth strategy and are conducted in store or at events and fairs on a weekly basis. In order to optimise sales and brand awareness, they needed driven and sales oriented brand ambassadors who could spread their passion for amazing ice-cream. And so they came to Gigstr..
3 Vänners Glass downloaded the Gigstr app and started to post gigs for sampling and product demos. They quickly recruited a solid pool of gigstrs that they trained and worked with, to which they continuously add more gigstrs as the gigs grow larger in number and scope.
